XAMPP INSTALL ACP INSTALL
Please upgrade to PHP 5.4.0 or higher before trying to install or update to phpBB 3.2 I get the following error message: You are running an unsupported PHP version. I try to open the index.php file I had freshly uploaded. renamed the original phpBB root folder on my server, to permit quick revert imported this to a fresh database on the server, using MySQL Workbench exported the complete database from my sandbox to file, using phpBB Backup function (always worked in the past, while MySQL Workbench refused to export the database) tested everything in my sandbox until I was satisfied. replaced all instances of old DB name via SQL query and by editing files respectively copied files (templates, stylesheets, etc.) I had slowly modified over the past few weeks into the appropriate locations installed current ThanksForPosts and imported separately exported table installed current phpBB Gallery and imported separately exported database tables upgraded to phpBB 3.2.8 (straight from download package)

Overdue update: Starting with phpBB 3.0.14, set up sandbox in XAMPP on home computer (as I had already done weeks ago, for testing and customization preparations) What is your level of experience?
